Our Mission

The Athletic Department at The College of St. Scholastica conducts a diverse athletics program consistent with the mission statement of the college and the NCAA Division III philosophy.

We believe that the success of the athletic department is to be measured by the performance of the student-athletes and staff in their academic and athletic pursuits, as well as their impact on the community. Opportunity for academic and athletic excellence is provided for all, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or minority status.

Our goals are to become an integral part of our institution; to contribute to the growth of our college; and to be an instrumental part of our Duluth community.

The mission of the athletics program, ultimately, is "to engage the mind, to elevate the spirit, and stimulate the best effort of all who are associated with the College."
