GREEN BAY, Wis. – The St. Scholastica women's cross country team placed third, while Jessie Lovering (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji HS) (Sr.-Bemidji, Minn.) finished fourth overall, at the Tom Barry Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

ST. PAUL -- The College of St. Scholastica, who has won nine consecutive Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championships in women's cross country, was the unanimous choice to win the conference title yet again in 2010 according to a poll of the league's coaches. The Saints, who have claimed every UMAC trophy since 2001, earned 24 points and six first place votes in the poll.

PAUL – The College of St. Scholastica had 70 Academic All-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) recipients from the 2009 fall season, while volleyball and women’s soccer had the best team grade-point-average in their respective sports; it was announced today by UMAC Sports Information Director Greg Johnson.
