PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – After a narrow miss at the bronze in the 10km classic two days earlier, St. Scholastica sophomore Eleanor Magnuson (So.-Champlin Park, Minn.) stepped onto the podium and into the medals, scoring a bronze in the 18-19 year old older junior category in Friday’s 5km freestyle at the USSA Junior Olympics. The Junior Olympics serve as the age category Junior National Championships.
