List of Winningest Teams

DULUTH, Minn. – For the last 10 years, no other NCAA Division III baseball program has a better winning percentage than the St. Scholastica Saints.

In the 10-year span the Saints have accumulated 367 wins, 83 losses, and two ties. That comes out to a winning percentage of .814. The College of Wooster (Ohio) finished second with a .791 winning percentage.

The 367 wins by CSS since 2000 are the second-most of the decade. If it wasn't for Wooster's postseason run this spring, which saw them finish national runner-up, the Saints would have held that honor also. Wooster finished with 372 wins for the decade.

The Saints have made five straight NCAA Tournament appearances, including advancing to the regional final in 2008. In 2000, the Saints made the NAIA Super Regional to begin this run. The Saints have won at least 34 games every season in the last 10 years.

The late John Baggs put together each and every squad from 2000 through this past spring to put CSS baseball on the map. Now with a new head coach, the Saints will look to duplicate the success of the last 10 years for the next decade.
