FOUR SAINTS EARN UMAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

ST. PAUL – St. Scholastica football players #Christopher Henagin# (Sr.-Cloquet, Minn.) and #Scott Greening# (So.-Antigo, Wis.), along with CSS men's soccer members #Joshua Odukomaya# (Fr.-White City, Sask./Luther College HS) and #Sam Reed# (So.-Eastbourne, England/Causeway) have been named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Athletes of the Week for their respective sports; it was announced today by UMAC Sports Information Director Greg Johnson.

Henagin was named the conference's north division offensive player of the week after scoring a career-high three touchdowns in St. Scholastica's 33-8 win over Maranatha Baptist Bible College on Saturday. Henagin had 21 carries for 147 yards in leading the Saints to their first road win in program history. Henagin also crossed 1,000-yard rushing mark for his career in the contest.

Greening was named the defensive player of the week for the north division after becoming the first CSS player to have multiple interceptions in one game. Greening had two interceptions, including one for a touchdown that was called back due to a penalty. He also had six tackles and two pass breakups in the win.

Odukomaya was named the UMAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after registering seven points in his first collegiate match. Odukomaya had the hat trick and an assist in the team's 6-0 win over Northland College to open the conference season on Wednesday.

Reed was named the defensive player of the week after posting a shutout against conference-foe Northland on Wednesday, while allowing just one goal and earning another win against Concordia-Moorhead on Sunday.

This marks the second consecutive week the CSS men's soccer team has swept conference honors.
