Wood, an outfielder for the Saints from 1997-2001 and a captain his senior year of 2001, helped lead St. Scholastica to three National Tournaments.

The Saints also honored their 2009 team, which advanced to the NCAA National Tournament and finished the season 36-7.

Adian Kummet, a Cincinnati Reds draft pick, received his All-American award and All-Region awards were handed out to pitcher Peter Burg, first basemen Sean Claugherty, and second basemen and Brian Marshik. Marshik also won the Tullberg Trophy as the team’s most valuable player.

Earlier in the day, the current Saints defeated the Saints Alumni 6-5 at Wade Stadium.
