COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – St. Scholastica junior captain #Stefan Hupperts# (Jr.-North Oaks, Minn./Mounds View) paced the men's skiers to a second place team finish Sunday, by placing fifth in the men's 12km freestyle finish at the Saints Invitational hosted by St. John's.

Gustavus Adolphus' Anders Bowman took the top spot in 31:45 seconds, edging St. John's Grant Cook by five seconds. St. John's Bob Gerten finished third in 32:47 seconds. Hupperts finished in 33:16 seconds, while freshman #Kelin Dunfee# (Fr.-St. Paul, Minn./Central) finished sixth in 33:40 seconds. Sophomore #Kirk Leach# (So.-Hopkins, Minn.) finished eighth in 34:18 seconds to round out the Saints scoring.

The Saints men field a full team next weekend on the same courses as they defend their Minnesota College Championship title.
