DULUTH, Minn. – For the first time ever the St. Scholastica men's and women's cross country teams will have a chance to score as a team at the Brooks Invitational this Saturday. The meet is hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The rest of the team will be competing at the Crown Invitational hosted by Crown College.

The Saints men placed 21st out of 25 teams and the women were 11th out of 23 teams at last Saturday Don Huston/Pre-Nationals Invitational, hosted by Wartburg College.
#Nick Mangan# ran the second-fastest 8k time in program history, placing 12th overall with a time of 26:22 seconds. The CSS men had two personal-best and two season-best times on the day.
#Jessie Lovering# also ran a personal-best time (22:51), leading the Saints with a seventh-place finish. The CSS women had tow personal-best and one season-best time last week.
2009 UW-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational
The Saints had six runners compete at last year's Brooks Invitational. There were four personal records and two season-best times on the day.
2008 Crown Invitational
The Saints did not race at Crown in 2009, but they did in 2008 as both teams placed fourth overall. The women had eight personal-bests, while the men had six.
