NEGAUNEE, Mich. – Sophomore #Eleanor Magnuson# (
So.-Champlin Park, Minn.) paced the St. Scholastica women's nordic skiing team for the second day in a row with an eighth-place finish at today's 15k freestyle race at the Central Collegiate Ski Association (CCSA) Ski Championships, hosted by Northern Michigan University.
Magnuson finished in a time of 39:17.2 seconds, which was 57.9 seconds behind winner Aurelia Korthauer of Alaska-Fairbanks. Korthauer also won yesterday's classic race.

Jr.-Woodbury, Minn.) finished in 13th place for the Saints with a time of 40:32 seconds. #Caroline Lund# (
Sr.-Duluth, Minn./East) was the final points producer for St. Scholastica with a 31st place finish in a time of 43:40.2 seconds.
The Saints improved from a sixth-place finish in yesterday's classic race to finish fourth today with 55 points. Alaska-Fairbanks won today with 83 points. Northern Michigan was second with 80 points and Michigan Tech was third with 61 points. CSS finished in fifth place overall for the weekend.
The Saints will compete next Saturday and Sunday at the NCAA Central Regional Championships in Houghton, Mich.
