MEN’S TENNIS FALLS AT ST. CLOUD STATE

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The St. Scholastica men's tennis team was defeated by NCAA Division II's St. Cloud State 9-0 this afternoon.

The Saints fell in all six singles matches in straight sets. The best chance for a win came at No. 1 doubles where the team of #Tucker Combs# (Jr.-White Bear Lake, Minn.) and #Jacob Engelstad# (So.-Thief River Falls, Minn.) lost in a tiebreaker 9-8 (8-6). CSS is 0-11 all-time against the Huskies.

The Saints, who drop to 0-4 this season, will compete next on their spring trip in a couple of weeks in Orlando, Fla. The Saints will open with St. Ambrose (Iowa) and Augustana (S.D.) on Monday, March 15th.
