2010-11 Schedule

DULUTH, Minn. – St. Scholastica head women's hockey coach Jackie MacMillan wanted to bring in players from all-different demographics and this week we look at incoming goaltenders from Illinois and Alaska.

First we will spotlight Gabby Baldassari from Chicago, Illinois. Baldassari was a two-time All-State selection as a goaltender for Lake Forest Academy. She was named Goalie of the Year and was a first team Pioneer Press All-Lake Shore selection.

The second incoming goaltender we will take a look at this week is Kat Lydon from Fairbanks, Alaska. Lydon attended West Valley High School where she played on the boys' varsity hockey team. She also played for Team Alaska 19-under squad and was named Most Valuable Player for the regional tournament three straight times from 2007-09. Lydon also intends on playing softball for the Saints in the spring. She was a three-time MVP for the West Valley softball team.

The Saints will open their season on November 5th at Mars Lakeview Arena when they host Augsburg College.
