DULUTH, Minn. – Ashland High School teammates
Kaitlyn Sherry and
Lynzie Thorp, along with
Stephanie Lepak (Merrill, Wis./Antigo HS (Madison Capitals)) from Antigo High School join the inaugural St. Scholastica women's hockey recruiting class.
Sherry, a defenseman, was named the Most-Outstanding defensive player in 2008-09 for the Oredockers. She also played soccer for Ashland. Her teammate, Thorp, a forward, also played softball for Ashland.
Lepak, a defenseman, played on the boys' varsity hockey team at Antigo High School. She also played for the Madison Capitals Girls' U19 team. Lepak was also a first team all-conference performer in soccer.
The Saints will open their season 127 days from today when they host Augsburg College at the newly-renovated Mars Lakeview Arena on November 5th.
