PREVIEW: CROSS COUNTRY TO COMPETE AT GRIAK INVITATIONAL

DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Scholastica men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the 25th annual Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, on Saturday at the University of Minnesota Les Bolstad Golf Course.

Start Times:
Women @ 9 a.m.
Men @ 10:40 a.m.

Last Action:
The St. Scholastica men's and women's cross country teams competed at the University of Minnesota-Duluth Campus Quest 7 Invite on September 11th.

The men's team was led by #Nick Mangan#, who finished sixth overall, while #Jessie Lovering# paced the women's team to a fourth place overall finish.

2009 Griak Invite:
At the 2009 Griak Invitational, the men finished 27th overall, while the women were 18th.

Nick Mangan (Baxter, Minn./Brainerd HS (Minnesota State-Mankato)) led the men with a 44th place finish in a time of 27:05 seconds. #Pat Bigaouette# and #Adam Kollman# had season-best times at the meet.

Senior departure Katelyn Meger (Webster, Minn./New Prague HS) finished 17th overall and was followed by Jessie Lovering (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji HS). #Kristen Gronbeck# and #Stacey Gustafson# had personal best times at the meet.
