Linn finishes 31st to lead all Saints runners

GREEN BAY, Wis. – The St. Scholastica men's cross country team placed sixth overall at the Tom Barry Invitational on Saturday afternoon, with eight runners finishing in the team-adjusted top fifty places.

#Jimmy Linn# (Jr.-Anoka, Minn.) led the Saints men, finishing 31st overall with a time of 22:39.3.

#Ben Carlson# (So.-Rosemount, Minn.) finished three spots and just seven seconds behind Linn with a time of 22:46.2. #Tony Bye# (Jr.-Chippewa Falls, Wis.) was a step behind Carlson, finishing 35th with a time of 22:47.3.

#John Hunn# (So.-Duluth, Minn.) finished 39th overall with a time of 23:08.8, and #Glen Gross# (Jr.-Hoyt Lakes, Minn.) ran one place behind Hunn with a time of 23:12.2.

The Saints will be in the Twin Ports next weekend, competing in the University of Minnesota-Duluth Invitational. The race begins at 11:15 a.m.
