LA CROSSE, Wis. – Members of the St. Scholastica men's track & field team competed at the first of two last chance meets hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, starting with the Eagle Open on Friday night.

Justin Hanson (Atwater, Minn./Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City HS) finished third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 56.69 seconds. Charlie Habermann (Proctor, Minn./Proctor HS) was also third in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:12.12. Alex Horoshak (Two Harbors, Minn./Two Harbors HS) was sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 41'4.25” (12.60m). Ryan Guentzel (Two Harbors, Minn./Two Harbors HS) placed seventh in the 400-meter dash with a time of 52.14 seconds. Christopher Doran (Royalton, Minn./Andover HS) was also seventh in the javelin throw with a distance of 138'4” (42.17m). 

The Saints will have one more last chance meet in La Crosse next week Thursday, beginning at 4 p.m.
