INDIANAPOLIS (csssaints.com) – St. Scholastica's Becky Huberty (Lena, Wis./Lena HS), Rachel Miller (Hinckley, Minn./Hinckley-Finlayson HS) and Kevin Wagner (Cleveland, Minn./Cleveland HS) earned spots to next week's NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in La Crosse, Wis., it was announced Sunday morning.

Huberty qualified in two events and will become the first CSS male or female track & field athlete to complete at multiple events at a single championship. She also qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the weight throw in March and last year's outdoor championships in the hammer throw to become the first Saint to compete at three consecutive NCAA Championships events.

Huberty, a junior from Lena, Wis., will complete in the hammer throw and shot put. She enters the championships ranked third in the country in the hammer throw with a toss of 184'2” (56.13m) at the UW-La Crosse Qualifier on Thursday. In the shot put, she is ranked 20th with that mark coming at the Grand Valley State Second-to-Last Chance Meet last weekend.

Miller will make her second NCAA Outdoor Championships appearance of her career in the triple jump. The senior from Hinckley first qualified in the triple jump in 2011 and placed 13th overall. She will enter this year's championships ranked 11th in the nation with her best mark coming at the Saint Mary's Open at the end of April.

Wagner becomes the second CSS male to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in as many seasons. The freshman from Cleveland, Minn. will be the first decathlete to compete at the championships for St. Scholastica, qualifying just last week at the Gregory Multi's at North Central College (Ill.). Wagner is ranked 12th in Division III and is the second-highest freshman.

Freshman Nicole Christianson (Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids HS) was unfortunately bumped out of the field in the high jump on the last day of last chance meets on Friday. Three athletes made it into the field at the Augustana Twilight Friday evening, dropping Christianson out of the top 22 in the event.

The NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships begin Thursday at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse. Wagner will begin CSS action in the decathlon, starting at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Huberty will compete on Friday in the hammer throw at 5 p.m. and then Saturday in the shot put at 1 p.m. Miller will conclude action for the Saints in triple jump on Saturday at 3:20 p.m.
