Hewitt Earns UMAC Weekly Honor

ST. PAUL (csssaints.com) – St. Scholastica goalkeeper Adam Hewitt (Richmond Hill, Ontario/St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic HS) has been named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference's (UMAC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week; it was announced on Tuesday.

In two games against the defending Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) champion Gustavus Adolphus College and 15th-ranked Carleton College; Hewitt posted a pair of shutouts. Hewitt had 13 saves in the two games with eight coming against the Gusties as the Saints went 1-0-1.
