WINONA, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's track & field team competed at the Saint Mary's University Open on Saturday.
Record BreakersFor the second straight week,
Chris Lawson (Minneapolis, Minn./St. Anthony Village) broke a program record, this time doing it in the 10,000m run with a winning time of 31:34.62.
WinnersCorey Anderson (Duluth, Minn./Hermantown HS) won the triple jump with a mark of 43'1.75" (13.15m).
Top FinishersAnderson tied for second in the high jump, clearing 5'10.75" (1.80m).
Jeremy Peterson (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown HS) was runner-up in the hammer throw with a toss of 183'5" (55.90m).
Ryan Murphy (Spooner, Wis./Spooner HS) was third in that event.
Aaron Egelkraut (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake HS) was third in the 400m hurdles with a time of 56.64.
Mike Naumann (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern HS) was fifth in that event.
Luke McKenzie (Taylors Falls, Minn./Chisago Lakes HS) was sixth in the 800m run, posting a time of 1:56.59.
Adam Wallenta (Eagan, Minn./Farmington HS) was seventh in the 5,000m run finishing in 16:42.20.
