DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's track & field team had a few members competing at the Drake Relays and Kip Janvrin Open in Iowa, while others were at the Saint Mary's Open in Winona this weekend.
 
Drake Relays (Results)
The distance medley relay team consisting of Taylor Gibson (La Crescent, Minn./La Crescent HS), Amy Campbell (Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS), Brianna Buske (Bloomer, Wis./Bloomer HS) and Casey Hovland (North Branch, Minn./North Branch HS) posted a program record time of 12:29.9 on Friday.
 
On Saturday, the sprint medley relay team of Sammi Argir (Chisholm, Minn./Hibbing HS), Breanna Shofner (International Falls, Minn./Falls HS), Campbell and Buske placed 12^th with a time of 4:12.10.
 
Kip Janvrin Open (Results)
On Friday, Brianna Buske (Bloomer, Wis./Bloomer HS) broke the program record in the 400m dash, posting a time of 57.69 to place second in the event. The 4x100m relay team of Argir, Shofner, Mady Urman (Alexandria, Minn./Jefferson HS) and Jodi Sila (Cameron, Wis./Cameron HS) was fifth, but the top Division III team with a time of 50.05.
 
Jordan Johnson (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern HS) ran a personal-best time in the 3,000m steeplechase at 11:33.68 to place fourth overall.
 
Saint Mary's Open (Results)
On Saturday, the rest of the team competed at the Saint Mary's Open in Winona.
 
Nicole Christianson (Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids HS) won the high jump, clearing 5'5" (1.65m). Andrea Mogren (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake HS) was fifth in the 1,500m run with a time of 5:00.67.
 
Emily Lundgren (Aitkin, Minn./Aitkin HS) was sixth in the 400m dash, posting a time of 1:01.38. Hannah Russert (Caledonia, Minn./Caledonia HS ) was sixth in the 100m hurdles, finishing in 16.99. Danielle Dickson (Roseville, Minn./Totino Grace HS/Roseville HS) was also sixth in the long jump with a leap of 16'10.5" (5.14m).
