csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's track & field team competed at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Warren Bowlus Open on Saturday.
Pentathlon
Hannah Russert (Caledonia, Minn./Caledonia HS ) competed in the pentathlon, which actually took place on Friday night. She would finish fourth out of eight competitors with 2,777 points. Russert won the 60m hurdles event with a time of 9.56. She then had top three finished in the high jump and shot put, including a personal-best mark in the shot put of 33'1" (10.08m).
Other Top Performances
Katharine Roetering (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) placed fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 32'7.75" (9.95m). She was also seventh in the pole vault, clearing 9'8.5" (2.96m).
Taylor Gibson (La Crescent, Minn./La Crescent HS) was fifth in the 800m run, posting a time of 2:22.78.
Elizabeth Poskie (Cotton, Minn./South Ridge HS) finished ninth in the 3,000m run, finishing in 11:15.95.
