csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's track & field team had its seven-year title run come to an end on Saturday as it placed third at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Indoor Championships held in the Burns Wellness Fieldhouse.

Event Champions
Jacob Gallagher (Lisbon, N.D./Lisbon HS) won his second title in as many days, taking home the 3000m run with a time of 9:14.03.
In his first UMAC Championships, freshman
Wyatt Helgeson (International Falls, Minn./Falls HS) won the pole vault title, clearing a season-best height of 12'7.5" (3.85m).
Other Top Performances
Easton Foss (Pine City, Minn./Pine City HS) placed third in the mile run in a personal-best time of 4:30.48. He was also third in the 3000m, posting a time of 9:19.90.
Frank Cerar (Plainview, Minn./Plainview-Elgin-Millville HS) was runner-up in the 60m hurdles with a personal-best time of 9.04. He was also third in the pole vault, clearing 12'1.5" (3.70m).
Davon Bryant (Minneapolis, Minn./Eden Prairie HS) was third in the 60m dash, finishing in a season-best time of 7.29.
Patrick Murphy (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake HS) was fifth in that event with a time of 7.45. Murphy was also fifth in the triple jump with a personal-best mark of 40'0" (12.19m).
Evan White (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji HS) finished seventh in the 800m run with a time of 2:06.02 and
Kyle Beck (Glencoe, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake HS) placed eighth in the 200m run, posting a season-best time of 24.31.

Members of the Saints will have one last chance to qualify for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Pointer Qualifier, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, next Saturday.
