Track & Field Takes Part in Holst Invitational




ST. PAUL (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's and women's track and field teams competed in the Holst Invitational, hosted by Concordia University-St. Paul, on Saturday.
 
Another Personal Best for Foss
Easton Foss (Pine City, Minn./Pine City HS) finished fourth, but was the top NCAA Division III finisher, in the 3000m steeplechase with a personal-best time of 9:51.28. That is the fourth straight meet Foss has set a personal-best time.
 
Other Top Performances
Elizabeth Poskie (Cotton, Minn./South Ridge HS) was sixth in the 5000m run, posting a season-best time of 19:30.63. Mia Rudeck (Esko, Minn./Esko HS) was also sixth in the pole vault, clearing a personal-best height of 10'0.5" (3.06m).
 
Brittany Ludwig (Alexandria, Minn./Jefferson HS) placed seventh in the discus throw with a season-best mark of 129'3" (39.39m). Emily Conley (Marinette, Wis./Marinette HS) finished 10th in the shot put with a toss of 36'0.25" (10.98m).
 
Up Next
The Saints will be at the Saint Mary's University Open next Saturday in Winona. Action is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
