csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's track and field team competed in the Saint Mary's University Open on Saturday in its final meet before next weekend's conference championships.
Top Performances
Jacob Gallagher (Lisbon, N.D./Lisbon HS) was runner-up in the 5,000m run with a time of 15:32.34.
Josh Trosen (Hackensack, Minn./Nevis HS) placed fifth in the 3,000m steeplechase with a finishing time of 10:34.20.
Patrick Murphy (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake HS) was ninth in the long jump with a personal-best outdoor leap of 19'10.75" (6.06m).
Easton Foss (Pine City, Minn./Pine City HS) finished 11
th in the 1,500 m run, posting a personal-best time of 4:08.62. That marks five consecutive meets with a personal-best time for Foss.
Wyatt Helgeson (International Falls, Minn./Falls HS) cleared 12'2.75" (3.73m) to place 13
th in the pole vault.
