Three-time UMAC Coach of the Year ('97, '01, '03) Dana Moore begins her 13th season leading the Saints volleyball program.
Moore has recorded five 20+ win seasons at the helm of the Saints and carries a 224-173 career mark into this year. Last season marked the 10th time she has led St. Scholastica to a conference finish of third place or higher.
During her tenure with the Saints she has coached 39 All-Conference players, one UMAC Player of the Year, seven NAIA All-Region players, seven UMAC Academic All-Conference honorees, 14 NAIA All-American Scholar Athletes, and one Verizon Academic All-American.
Moore's first head coaching job was with Fontbonne (Mo.) College where she led the Griffins for three seasons, from 1980 through the 1982 season. She moved to Duluth in 1986 where she worked for the City of Duluth before moving into an assistant coach role with the St. Scholastica program in the 1995 and 1996 seasons, then stepped up into the lead role beginning with the 1997 campaign. Moore is a graduate of the NCAA Women Coaches Academy.
A native of Manhattan Beach, California, Moore graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri.
Assistant Coach: Jackie Hagadorn
This season will be Hagadorn’s 15th season with the Saints volleyball program.
A native of Pine River, Minn., she received her B.A.S. in Community Health Education from the University of Minn.-Duluth in 1991. Hagadorn has been employed for 16 years in Support Services at Minnesota Power.
Hagadorn brings several years of competitive playing experience and knowledge of the game to the court where she specializes in defense.
Coach Hagadorn and her husband Bob referee high school and college volleyball matches in the northland.
She remains active in the area of fitness and pushes the players in the program to be in the best physical shape possible.
