Head coach Dave Reyelts enters his 10th season at the helm of The College of St. Scholastica’s women’s soccer team. He is the winningest coach in program history with 128 wins at the college. His 2008 team again claimed the UMAC Regular Season and the Postseason UMAC Tourney Title with a perfect 14-0 record in the conference. He led his team to a second straight NCAA Division III national tournament.

His teams have won either the regular season or conference tournament title in each of the past nine years. The ’06 Saints hosted the UMAC Tournament as the top seed but fell in the championship game in double overtime.

A five-time winner of the UMAC Coach-of-the-Year award, Reyelts has compiled an overall record of 128-60-9 since taking over the program in 2000. That includes a stretch of 44 consecutive wins in regular season UMAC play including the final two conference games of the 2003 schedule.

Under Reyelts’ tutelage, the Saints have produced one NAIA All-American, 19 NAIA Honorable Mention All-Americans, an NAIA Region-III Player-of-the-Year, four UMAC Players-of-the-Year, 22 NAIA Region-III All-Region players, and 46 UMAC All-Conference performers.

A proponent of excellence in the classroom as well as on the soccer pitch, 47 of Reyelts’ players have earned Academic All-UMAC honors while nine have been named to an NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete Team.

During his playing days, Reyelts—also an assistant with the hockey program and men’s and women’s track teams—was a goalkeeper on St. Scholastica men’s soccer team (1995-97). The Duluth, Minn., native holds records for career saves and saves percentage for the Saints. Nimble outside the keepers’ box, he was also a hard-checking forward on the Saints hockey team during those years.

Coach Reyelts owns a lengthy resume of coaching positions in the Northland having coached hockey, softball, and track and field at the youth, high school, and college levels. In the summer months Reyelts continues to work with the local Gitchi Gummi Soccer Club.

Reyelts is married to Ann, a Duluth/Superior teacher. They are the parents of 5-year old Kennan and 3-year old Andrew.

Morgan MacLean, Head JV Coach
Asst. Men's and Women's Soccer Coach
Fifth season
(218) 723-6603

MacLean begins his fifth season as the assistant men’s and women’s soccer coach. A local graduate from Duluth East High School, MacLean played four years with the Greyhound varsity program but suffered a career-ending injury following his senior campaign.

Morgan stepped across the sideline directly into a coaches role after high school as he joined the highly successful Greyhound girls’ program where he led the ninth grade squad for three years while assisting with the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.

He then coached in the Marshall School boy's program for a season before joining St. Scholastica the following year.

MacLean leads the Saints JV program along with helping both the men's and women's programs with recruiting. In the summer, he coaches for the Gitchi Gummi Soccer Club.

Chad Kresky, Assistant Coach
Sixth season

Coach Kresky enters his sixth season with the Saints. He was the CSS women’s assistant coach in 2001 and 2002 and returned to work with the women’s team in 2007 after spending three seasons as the head coach of the Duluth Denfeld High School girl’s team.

A two year captain and four year player for the Saints men’s program, Kresky also has valuable on-field experience. During his playing years from 1997-2000, the midfielder was named UMAC All-Conference Honorable Mention (1999) and All-Conference Second Team (2000).

An ’01 CSS graduate, Kresky earned his Master’s of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation from the College during his first coaching stint with the women’s team.

Kresky is also employed with United Health Care in Duluth.

Kristin Lammi, Assistant Coach
Fourth season

Lammi returns for her fourth season on the sidelines as a coach for the Saints.

Following a stellar career in which she set nearly every goalkeeping record for the Saints, Lammi made the transition from player to coach where she lends her talents to work with the team's keepers.

Kristin was a two-time NAIA Honorable Mention All-American, three-time NAIA All-Region-III team member, and a three-time All-UMAC performer. She was also an NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete as well as Academic All-UMAC in both '04 and '05.

She served as a Tri-Captain in her final season with the Saints and won the team's Best First Year Player award following her first season in '03.
Kristin lives in Duluth with her son Evan.

lahti
Pam Lahti, Assistant Coach
Second season

Lahti returns for her second season as an assistant to Coach Reyelts’ Saints.

Like much of the staff, Lahti comes to the coaching staff after a four-year playing career at the college in which she earned plenty of honors as a defender.

The Duluth native is a two-team All-American Honorable Mention on the Saints’ 2004 and 2005 NAIA Regional Tournament team. She was also named to the all-region first team both seasons.

Student Assistant Coach: Alyssa Wilson

Injuries hampered the career of first-year graduate assistant Alyssa Wilson during her three-year career with the Saints, but her intelligence and skill made assigning her to coaching duties an easy decision for head Coach Dave Reyelts.

Wilson is in her first year in the College’s Occupational Therapy Master’s program.
