Mission Statement: The purpose of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is threefold: to represent student-athletes interests on campus, promote interest in CSS athletic teams and contribute to the on-campus/off-campus community through service projects.
John Baggs Award: SAAC selects a John Baggs Sportsmanship Award recipient each year. This previous winners are listed below. The award description is as follows: The John Baggs Sportsmanship Award is sponsored by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee in memory of the former baseball coach. Coach Baggs was a strong advocate of good sportsmanship. Each year the committee selects one senior-student athlete to receive the award. Criteria include performing with class, loyalty to the team, trustworthiness and respect for opponents, teammates, officials, coaches and the sport.
